Blanka Vlasic spoiled the German HJ party by clearing 2.04- I think that's about 6-8. Friedrich, in third, passed her last at 2.04 and narrowly missed at 2.06.
 
A Barbadian won the HH in 13.12, barely beating Trammel and Payne.
 
Bekele and Lagat looked good in heats of 5,000- and Melaine Walker (Olympic champ) ran down Demus in the homestretch to win in 52.42.
 
Trey Hardee in lead going into 9th event, the jav, and he already has a good throw.
